INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC?
St Joseph parish offers a year-round process for adults who wish to become a member of the Catholic faith. This process is known as the “RCIA”: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
The RCIA process is for you if:
- You have never been baptized; OR
- You have been baptized in another Christian tradition; OR
- You were baptized as an infant in the Catholic Church, but never received Holy Communion and Confirmation
Sacramental celebrations for adults take place each year at the Easter Vigil. Adults usually spend 12 to 18 months in the RCIA process before receiving the sacraments.
